Knights Events
Knights Events are a crew provider service, supplying teams across the country to build festival stages, expos, and more. Their manual system, phoning and emailing crew members to check availability and offer jobs, was costing a fortune in administrative hours. I built the mobile app that automated it entirely.
Administrative staff were phoning and emailing crew members individually to check availability, offer jobs, and confirm bookings. Roughly four hours per day were lost to this process alone. It was expensive, inefficient, and everyone on both sides knew it.
The job onboarding loop needed automating end-to-end. I designed a mobile app each crew member would download: push notifications fire the moment a new job is available, crew can accept or decline instantly without any back-and-forth, and each job surfaces location and navigation details. Holiday logging is built in so availability is always current.
Knights Events now run an asynchronous job onboarding process. Administrative staff are freed from the repetitive outreach. Crew members can see their upcoming jobs and know what's coming. The company reclaimed essential staff time that was previously sunk into coordination.
